China's rare earth imports decreased by nearly 6% from January to June

The analysis of customs data shows that 60140.5 tons of rare earth were imported from January to June 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9%; The import amount was 710.5 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%.

In comparison, the import volume decreased in the first six months. From January to may, China imported 49646.7 tons of rare earth, a year-on-year decrease of 8.5%.
