What is the difference between the temperature resistance of injection molded ferrite magnets and sintered ferrite magnets?

Published:2022/06/16

The ferrite magnet factories under Zhaobao can usually customize the production of injection molded ferrite magnets and sintered ferrite magnets according to different customer requirements. Are there any similarities and differences between them?

The first is the difference in process. As the name suggests, the two adopt injection molding and sintering processes respectively;

Secondly, their physical properties are different;

In the same point, the ferrite magnets of the two processes have the same sex and the opposite sex.

So what kind of ferrite magnet has stronger temperature resistance?

Injection magnet, as the name suggests, is a mixture of plastic and magnetic powder. The temperature resistance of the plastic itself is not strong, so the maximum temperature resistance of the whole magnet is 100-200 degrees.

The temperature resistance of sintered ferrite can reach 300 degrees. Therefore, it is recommended to use sintered ferrite magnets if temperature resistance is pursued under the condition that the shape and size requirements are not strict.
