What is multipole magnetization? Are there any special requirements for multipole magnetization?

Published:2022/05/23

The common magnetization directions of magnets are axial, radial, thickness, etc., but according to different use scenarios, some customers need to customize multipole magnetization, so what is multipole magnetization?

The common magnetization direction is to use the existing magnetization equipment and fixture to magnetize the magnet. After magnetization, one side of the product has only one pole, N pole or S pole.

Multi pole magnetization requires the use of special customized magnetization fixture to magnetize the magnet, so that one side of the magnet can have multiple N poles and S poles at the same time.

Does it cost to customize the magnetizing fixture?

Generally speaking, this kind of fixture for special specifications and pole heads will generate additional magnetization fixture fees, which usually range from hundreds to thousands. Generally, after opening the fixture once, it will not be charged later.
